LEVY LOCKDOWN PORTRAITS

"I'm not sure why but I have to fight off tears when I'm leafing through the pages, very emotional, I find it very moving"

Levy Lockdown Portraits tells the story of the UK's first lockdown through the medium of window portraits.

Over a six-week period, I photographed more than 250 households in my Manchester neighbourhood - capturing the spirit and resilience of the community at an odd and disconcerting point in time.

I turned it into a book thanks to 171 backers, who supported my crowdfunding campaign - which also raised £400 for Levenshulme's Inspire Centre, which supported older people and shielders during the pandemic.

The book is paperback, A5 in size and has 260 pages.
